About the Artists:

The Soca Boys are a Dutch dance singers duo. In 1998 they have been celebrating a huge success with the song “follow the leader” as an international summer hit. They have been for sixteen weeks number one in the charts in the Netherlands and their following hit “keep on bumping” reached also into the top 25 Dutch tracks of those days.

They sold more than 50 000 Records and got a Golden Record for their success. Supported by five background dancers they had more than 200 TV- and Radio performances. Even in the United States they got popular. Much greater success they reached while decided to record a Spanish-language version of Follow The Leader, "signan al lider”, and hit really like a bomb and four weeks in the top five of Venezuela. For two weeks they were also number one in Colombia.

After the first album the second didn’t got the right success. One of the members, Van B. King, decided to run solo projects like the “cha cha style”.
