About the Artist:

Keisha K is a british rapper - song writer who resides in Dudley, West Midlands. She began writing and composing songs from the age of 11.  She was heavily influenced by rap artists from the Hip Hop and Grime scene.  Over the years she has released a numerous amount of music, appeared on radio and TV.

Her roots lie in Grenada and Dominica so she has always had a strong love for Soca and Calypso music.

However, it wasn't until 2014 when she re visited Grenada during the island's carnival season that she

decided to  incorporate her rap skills onto a Soca Riddim. In June 2015 she released her first ever soca

single entitled 'visa' for Notting Hill Carnival. The single was selected to compete in the Soca Road March

and has received airplay from various Soca radio stations.  Keisha K aims to push UK Soca out to a wider audience. Her aim is to write catchy up lifting music within the Soca genre that people can relate to.
