About the Artist:
Giselle Carter is a professional entertainer, singer, songwriter and MC. She started to sing at the age of 3 years. During high school she received professional vocal coaching. She also won several calypso monarch competitions and competed in various music festivals and competitions in Trinidad representing her high school. As well Giselle placed in the top 3 at national calypso competitions from 1998 - 2003.

In 2003 she moved to London, the capital of the United Kingdom to pursue tertiary education and joined the Association of British Calypsonians (a.k.a. ABC) in 2007. She won the first ever UK Groovy Soca Monarch competition in 2007, with a track titled "When Will I See You Again". In 2008 she penned three songs, one of which, "I have hope", which was dedicated to the memory of eight year old Hope Arismandez, won her the Calypso Monarch title.

As the UK's premier female singing MC, Giselle is bringing a unique style to show hosting. Only in 2015 she hosted two major events in London: "Face Off" featuring Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons and "The On My Way Tour" featuring Skinny Fabulous, Machel Montano and Angela Hunte. She has been also the MC for the London Calypso Tent for a few years.
