About the Artists:

In 1992 Jocelyne Labylle joied the French group ‘Elodie’ after she joined the band ‘Zouk Orchestra’. After she started her solo career. Her second album was recorded in 2000. In 2003 she teamed up with Cheela, Passi and Jacob Descarieux for the single ‘laisser parler les gens’. The song was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique Award – a huge honor for her career. The Single became a huge hit in France, Africa and the Caribbean. For it she also received a platinum disc. She also had many featured songs on Zouk Compliations spreading worldwide.

As a child she wanted to become a dancer like her famous dancing mother for the Ballets Karibana. She studied in Lyon (France).
