By now everyone's pretty much fed up with washing their hands a gazillion times a day but since it is necessary to help keep us COVID-19 free we don't have a choice but to do it.

In a bid to make the exercise fun, Bajan soca star Alison Hinds has rewritten the words to her popular hit song Faluma.

Hinds said via her Instagram account that she was inspired to do that when a female fan posted a video of herself washing her hands to 'Faluma'.

"This is a trying time, a lot of us are on lockdown because of the Corona virus ( I hope everyone is hanging in there). We've been advised to keep our hands thoroughly clean, so I've decided to remix FALUMA so we have a fun song to sing ( and possibly whine to) while we're observing this practice.

Soca Lovers make sure you tag me when you use this , I want to see all my socially conscious Soca family, doing their part," she said, singing the new words while washing her hands.

The new words to the song goes like this: "Get ready to wash, get ready to wash, Faluma Ding Ding Ding, wash your hand and ting, use soap and water, make your hand dem cleaner, is a hygiene ting, help stop corona spreading. Ding Ding Ding. Scrub for a minute, wash them at least a minute, wash them is a hygiene ting, get under nails germs dey hiding."

Hinds urged everyone to be safe and keep their hands and areas sanitised as much as they can.
