IO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – With the 2015 Rio Carnival more than four months away (official dates are February 13 – 18th), organizers recently started the sales process for seating during the internationally renowned samba parades held annually at Rio’s Sambódromo.
Carnival 2015 is on. Both Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism Dr Lincoln Douglas and National Security Minister Gary Griffith said on Wednesday there were no plans to cancel or postpone carnival celebrations 2015 despite the threat of Ebola.

Just before dawn on Saturday, a massive crowd gathered in the area of the Belcan Bridge for Jouvert. The event has grown by leaps and bounds and this year, the event was certainly the biggest in its history. Duane Moody was there for the event.
